Grey Hound
This bike belongs to a good friend of mine and member on this forum scottcurnowbaker - he is working overseas for the next few months and has asked me to sell his bike on his behalf
It is a 2008 registered KTM 640 Adventure (VIN says it was manufactured in late 2007 but only first registered in RSA in 2008 so it must be one of the last)
Mileage is 30 285 km - Scott has owned it for the last 3 years and 10 000 km - in that time it has been regularly serviced by Superfoxi - the last time being on 5 April 2016 when it got a service and new chain and sprockets - it has done less than 500 km since then.
It has a few very lekker extras, namely:
Orange headlight protectors
Cubbyhole bag that fits above instrument cluster with Velcro strips
Ceramic coated exhaust and BOSSON performance silencer
SW Motech side stand (these bikes never came with sidestands - only centre / main stands)
Full pannier frames and aluminium panniers (no pics yet - I must still collect them)
Spoke candy
Included are the 2 original keys, owners manual and toolkit.
I have ridden the bike plenty - it starts first time, pulls strongly and is a very neat example of a 640.
Only negatives are
Scratch / scuff on the left tank (see pic) from a meeting with Mother Nature.
Tyres are worn but will pass roadworthy test - I am reluctant to fit new tyres because every rider out there has his own personal favourite and I would rather let the buyer choose his own tyres
