Stripped thread on IMS fuel tank.

So for some unknown reason (too me anyway!) there are two outlets on the tank that do not have brass threads moulded into the tank. The thread in these seem to be a bit stripped even hand tight - so does anyone know a way to repair/rethread etc these and what parts/bits can i use to repair.
I have searched this forum but it seems that plastic tank cracks are the main repair required.
Any ideas will be welcome.
