I'm thinking of stripping the paint off the W650's tank for that raw metal look. I have a few questions, maybe someone has some advice or tips for me...
1. I assume I use paint stripper? Where do I buy it, and what do I ask for?
2. How do I apply it?
3. I assume sandpaper is involved as well - what grit / how fine?
4. How long can I expect this to take? What's the general process?
Once it's stripped, I'm keen to apply a clear coat myself. Is there a decent enough clear coat I can get in a rattle can (as I don't have a compressor / spray gun) and if so what do I buy and where?
Any advice appreciated, I think the end result is going to look great :thumleft:
