Ok, so when you strengthen the rear of the sub frame remember that somewhere something has to give... :xxbah:
On my last trip I couldn't understand why my seat kept pulling away from the tank (more than it normally does) so a while into the ride I shift my fat ass back, look down while I give it a bump.
Suddenly I get a sinking feeling (like my suspension collapsed or something) but after taking the seat off I discovered that both left and right top support of my sub frame had broken off. :xxbah:
Fortunately the bottom supports had only slightly bent and had not broken. So I strapped it all up and took the tar back home.
The frame is out and after getting it all straight again, I'm going to weld it with a bit of support there.
Lets hope that is the last weak spot. eepwall:
