Am i wrong, or is there more and more talk and cases of guys breaking their oil sumps??
If this is happening, is there a pattern? I suspect on vunerable area is the front drain plug which sits about 3mm higher than the bash plate. I'm wondering if that can be replaced with a allen key type grub screw thingy so that the plug sits deeper in?
Also maybe look at coating the inside of the bash plate with a strong pressure resistant rubber at critical points?
Is this something that is happening? I like rocks etc, and haven't yet had a problem , but you never know...... :-[
