Ramius
Race Dog
Morning,
Wife is pregnant, so selling her scooter with a heavy heart - some of my best memories was with me on my 1150GS and my wife on "BlueBird" cruising at 60kph around the Overberg and drinking coffee next to the road. Oh well, a new phase in our life is coming and the DR wont be part of it for the next few years :'(
Details:
Suzuki DR200se
Year: 2006
Stock standard.
Condition: Excellent. Tyres and battery was replaced recently. Chain and sprockets still perfect.
The only things that are not perfect are the clutch lever which is weld-repaired and the scuff marks both on the front and rear carrier (seen in the pics).
It's been in Hermanus for the past two years. The bike has been inland for its entire life before.
We've owned it since 2013 and it had around 28'000 km on it at the time.
It's been used by my wife for short day trips wherever we lived.
The previous owner also used it for his wife and before that it was used by a guy to commute to work and back in Welkom (If I recall the story correct).
This little DR has NOT seen abuse. It's been well maintained and always garaged.
In our experience this bike is absolutely perfect for a lady rider to learn on. Its low, slow, predictable, excellent grip in looser stuff. And the control levers are soft and smooth to operate.
And its quite a cute looker with that round light and the front carrier frame IMHO O0
Price: R20'000
