Recently bought a 'previously-owned' V-strom in beautiful condition and low mileage (32 000 k's on clock). Very smooth and pretty quiet ride until shifting into top gear. There's a whiny metallic sound which increases when accelerating It stops if I hold in the clutch or decelerate. The best way i can describe it is that it sounds like a metal fan belt (sorry about the use of image - i'm slightly technologically challenged :-\). Any ideas? ???
