SW Motech crash bars, don't waste your money

I have these fitted to my bike,unless they were fitted incorrectly (seems impossible) I really do not rate them to rovide any real advantage over the stock tank plastic pods. Almost all the pressure (which on this bike is alot) rests on a 110mm x 8mm bolt. The first time I went down the bars bent all the way into the plastic pods, even so far as to make contact with the motors rocker cover ! I managed to bend them back into shape failry easily on the bench vice (again not a good sign) and bought new bolts. I sure as heck won't pay 3K for these things new.
