So, the itch...

I've always wanted a Harley. But. They are expensive to purchase and it seems parts/maintenance on some models cause headaches. Yes, you can order parts from the States, but I'm not Elon Musk!
There are a couple of Street 750, 883 and 1200 Sportsters that I've seen and liked, but they are not entirely pillion friendly without spending loads of cash (seats, suspension etc.)

Have had my eye on a couple Jap examples, but not in the mood to start something I can't finish.
On my radar so far has been:
98 Suzuki Intruder VL 1500
86 Suzuki Intruder 750
96 Kawasaki VN 1500
96 Honda VT 750 and 97 1100
98 Yamaha XVZ 1300

Which of the above will I be able to keep going for the longest taking in account spares availability?

Your feedback and/or opinions will be highly appreciated!
