After wanting a workbench for a long time, I started to shop around last week and was surprised at how expensive it was. I then decided to build my own.
Frame is 50mm X 50mm x 2mm square tubing.
The size is 1800mm x 900mm with a table height of 1m and total height of 2m
The worktop is laminated Saligna of 35mm thick with a 5mm rubber lining on top.
The backboard is called a pegboard that I bought at Chamberlains.
I started 3 nights ago and worked a few hours every night and just completed it. Still have to hang all my tools but my back hurts and I am going to bed now.
