This is the section where you can advertise and promote bike and bike related stuff. Members will browse this section in order to view what's available from who at what prices. The small-ads is for individuals wanting to buy/sell their personal stuff. If you what to sell stuff as a business or on a non-personal level - this is the place.
How it works:
2 Options:
1. For R3000 pa - you become a site sponsor (like the people at the top right corner). Your logo gets displayed at the top and we'll promote your business in our flashing news section. In addition you'll get allocated to a vendor-group in this section where you can create your own thread in order to advertise your products, provide contact details, advertise specials and interact with your clients. Only paid-up vendors can create threads in this section. You'll be able to moderate your thread yourself.
2. For R1000 pa - you'll still get to post in the General Vendor section, but not the logo and news advertising. You'll be a paid-up member, having the right to sell biking stuff on this forum in your thread, but not a sponsor who'll brand and logo we shall market on the forum.
In addition, should you want to appoint a fellow WD to represent you on the forum as well, it is another
R 1 000,00 on both the 3K and 1K option. This has worked quite well for a few of our vendors. Freeing up their time to focus on their business while having representation on the forum as well.
For the companies that operate with geographical 'agents', we suggest that the main coy becomes a sponsor and each agent a vendor with their own threads. This way the company still promotes its logo/brand on the site but each agent can sell his own stuff in his own thread.
A few basic rules:
- Please try and post your products/services in the vendor section. Of course, you may reply to any post requesting pricing/services within that thread. You may advertise client's unwanted items in the Trade/Buy section.
- On the general boards, all Vendors are allowed to offer their products and services in response to enquiries, either on the thread or via PM.
- On the Vendor Board, no offers from other Vendors may be listed on the threads of another Vendor.
- Vendors are not allowed to openly attack/badmouth/negatively criticize/etc other vendors and/or their products and services on any board. You have the right to express your opinions but we do appreciate approaching such posts with circumspect.
- The Wild Dog Forum provides the market place. We do expect maturity, sound business principles and integrity in the actions of the vendors. Any action taken to resolve a public dispute between vendors, which includes deletion of posts, public reprimand and warnings, will be taken with due care and process by the moderators group and will be final
NOBODY ELSE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ADVERTISE BIKING STUFF ON THIS FORUM - this shall be strictly enforced by the mods.
