ok, in the run up to getting my GS, I have already begun shopping. which means if i DON'T manage to sell my scooter and get the GS, I'm going to end up with a bunch of stuff I can't use, haha
so far I have the jacket (useful regardless of what I ride).
This week (hopefully) I'll be getting a tank bag, and new goggles (effectively getting oakleys, brand new, for R130. Here's the short version of the story - took damaged von zipper sunglasses in to get repaired, got bad service, complained, got brand new free von zippers plus R300 vouchers for the shop, told them to order me the oakleys, got offered a discount, R430 - R300 = R130. score.)
so, next i need to get a jacket for the missus, 2 helmets (hoping to get a BMW enduro for me when i get the bike, and for the missus either a HJC flipup, but i don't reckon those are safe, so probably an Airoh S4 - the new enduro one).
Also will need better gloves, and gloves for the missus. And eventually boots.
And, of course, the bike itself!!
Damn this is an expensive lifestyle
