It's currently under discussion under general banter, but I'm sure it's been posted before and since reading it I've been checking the calliper bolts periodically. I checked them again today and observed that the pads were getting there, so since I have some 'in stock' I thought, might as well fit them now.
Yikes! on removing the bolts, one of them dragged the thread out with it, and it quickly became apparent that both holes have been helicoiled. Not nice.
Fortunately Wurth have a shop just up the road, and soon as poss, that'll be Monday, I'll go and talk to them about their 'Time Sert' inserts.
If I'd known about the helicoils I would never have used Loctite, but what thoughts about using it with Time Serts?
