So this year the virus hysteria has thrown us a bit of a curve ball, but things are looking better and it is
spring time and the temperature is picking up and the general outlook in life is looking better by the day and
everybody is getting in the spirit to start up the bike and go for a little ride................so here goes!!
Thumper Bash.......but all trademarks and all other dualsport bikes can join.
The thumper crowd are cool people anyway and dont mind others joining.
So even if you have a twin cylinder, feel free to join.
This event grew very much into a "good mates supporting Koedoeskloof"
event, so put your name on your list.
From previous years experience, I dont have to explain or convince you
what the standard of the food and presentation, and experience is going to be.
As a matter of fact everybody will always be having a good time at Koedoeskloof.
DATE : 27 to 29 November 2020
VENUE : Koedoeskloof
COSTS : You must take one of the PACKAGES. There are 3 options :
1. Camping : R 660 (Last year it was R650)
What you get for your money:
Camping for two nights
Full English breakfast with bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomato and toast on
Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Friday night : Stew with extras
Saturday night : Braaipack with steak, chop, boerewors and patato salad,
roosterkoek and green salad and desert
Included in the price is also the cost towards braaiwood for the weekend.
Important: Campers can just pay in the money. No need to confirm booking.
Camping space at Koedoeskloof has been reduced, cause Veldtie made a bit of a vegetable garden and only about 26 campers max can be accommodated.
If we've reached capacity and you still want to camp, you must book at Towerkraaltjie which is 2,8 km down
the road and take the R470 option. See contact details at option 3 lower down in this post
We are already on 13 paid campers, so space is running out. If unsure, communicate with me via PM
2. Sleep inside B and B accommodation at Koedoeskloof : Pay R1270 (Last year it was R 1260 )
Same value for money package for food as per the campers.
You pay the money to me, but you arrange directly with Koedoeskloof for reservation and availability of your bed.
You can phone and find out at Koedoeskloof, but I think all the rooms are already fully booked. Some people book it a year in
advance
NOTE :
The rate is for two people sharing ONLY. You therefor need to find a buddy to
go in with you. We need to book out the fixed accommodation.
Booking for fixed accommodation will be handled on the basis that you
confirm availability before you pay.
It will be handled on a first come, first serve basis. If you want the room,
you need to pay soonest.
We will not reserve a room indefinitely, as the demand is quite high
3. Sleep on neighbouring farms : R 470 (Last year it was R460)
Same value for money package as for the campers, but you arrange your own accomodation
directly with the owners of said accomodation.
Deposits and cost and confirmation for this accommodation must be arranged by yourself
directly with management of those establishment and will be your responsibility.
You will then basically only eat and "kuier" at Koedoeskloof, but sleep down the road.
