Just a few words on what we do, and what we should do (yes at work and yes bored).
I noticed for a while, like maybe a year or so!
That the seat latch on the pig was not working quite as it should. The rear latch worked but needed the key tuning sometimes etc, not perfect.
The front latch not at all.
So yesterday after spraying with lube, etc no change so strip it out and investigate.
Rear latch no issues (but they are connected) front latch full of 2mm diameter (big sand or) small gravel. cleaned it out, greased all works perfectly.
I just think some aditional TLC (bolt tightening) etc is required when the bikes are used DS more than for just road work.
