I will be riding to Groblershoop (100kms short of Upington) for the New years weekend. Leaving Friday, and coming back Tuesday.
Going up via Loeriesfontein, and coming back via Verneukpan. 850kms up, and 825 back. About 600kms gravel on each day. Visiting a friend, but mainly running to see if I can handle the full day in the saddle, and with no backup. Need this as an Amageza practice. Doing 2 days for good measure.
Anybody that would like to run with? Either up or down, or both.
This would be a serious endurance run, as I do not race. Expect to run 12hours on both days. :ricky:
