Maybe im a little spoilt with LC8's in my garage.
I have the 950SM which is a ton of fun on the black stuff and the Adventure, which just takes the fun to the dirt. Im perhaps toying with the idea of getting a 950SE and maybe flogging the Adventure. The Adventure, out of all my bikes is the easiest to live with. Its comfy and had decent wind protection and makes me ride much more like a sane person.
I've ridden an SE and its a fun bike, but will it really be justified for longer 3 day type trips where you need about 300km in range. For more hard core riding, I have the XRR, which I kind of prefer when the shit hits the fan.
In my mind, the SE with a big tank must be the ultimate adventure bike, but slapping on the big tank sort of turns it into a large fat overgrown pig, much like the Adventure, just without a screen.
So, do I get one, or not?
