Firstly I want to mention the fact that the Mods should please not see this thread as an advert... merely as info with regard to something good!!! ;D
I suppose I would have to do the RR bit as well, due to the fact that so much was involved!
We visited Mosselbay for 2 days to have a very intense meeting with Jaques with regard to AEROTRIM. Jaques treated us by taking us to the Bonniedale farm for a stay, which was absolutely amazing and I'm sure those of you that have had the opportunity to visit this amazing hidden gem, would agree that it is as close to heaven-on-earth for anyone loving the outdoors & DS riding!
My wife and I have started a new company, and since we are now certain to be leaving SA for the UK - it seemed appropriate that we should go and "punt" some real good "home-made" products there as well - and show them that we have some really good/brilliant products and designers here in "Africa"....
As per the agreement reached with Jaques, we have now secured the full International Distributorship rights for the AEROTRIM Adjustable Screens, which we will be taking to the big Motorcycle Expo at NEC Birmingham on 20th Jan 2008 for the official European Launch.
Right - after that announcement - the next bit....
The Windtunnel issue! -
As part of our launch in Europe as well as the marketing & PR DVD we would take with - we have decided that the very best way to show the Brits and for that matter the rest of the world that the product works, was by real video footage of the AEROTRIM in action.
Without spending huge amounts of money.... trying to keep up next to a WD with a fitted screen on a long run...... ;D was to place a couple of scoots with screens fitted in a Windtunnel.
Stellenbosch University is the place it will be happening and we would hire the Tunnel for a whole day.... and hopefully all us amateurs would be able to get this right by utilising a Smoke machine (which we would hire from a disco company I presume...) and videoing the effects of the smoke trails with & without the AEROTRIM fitted.
Therefore, we would need some really good, kindhearted WD's to assist with bikes and some time.... and we could use it as a get-together and quite possibly end up at the Dros for a social afterwards? ???
The concept, logistics, Movie-company etc. are in the process of being organised and requirements will be posted soon..... so "Phleassseeeee" guys those with screens that are willing to help.... let me know.
We do NOT want to create favouritism with a specific brand... but have to see whatever would look the very best for those over the waters!
Thanks a million for all the kind input with regard to the Windtunnel... the responses are very much appreciated..
Peter
