Did two Navy camps there in the '80's and really enjoyed the town.

Was that the city hall where you guys gathered to start? There used to be a cinema directly over the road there wasn't there? There used to be a "night club" upstairs called "the Plaza". Had a good few skops there, even though we were never allowed "siviel drag" passes in WB.

Memories....

Must admit, we were there again in September - first time since 2007. Can't believe how the town has grown. Was reading the other day that Nam has the fastest growing economy in Africa for the last 2 or 3 years. You could pick up the bustle vibe there and in Swakop - lots going on. It just highlighted to me how badly SA economy is going down the sh*tter....
