So yesterday coming into Pretoria riding along Nelson Mandela Drive, about 2 lights before the Ex-Skinner Street
I stop at the red light, the road crossing is a one way flowing from right to left, I look accross the intersection and on the other side at the front is another biker, he nods and I nod back.
The Crossing roads light turns red, ours turns green, I look to the right and I see a White Merc A-Class coming down the road and he doesnt look like he is going to stop for his red light, I look back at the fellow biker only hoping he sees the same thing, only to see him start moving forwards, the Merc DID NOT STOP, I honestly thought the biker was toast but lucky at the last minute he saw the red light jumper, he missed the Merc by inches. My heart seriously stopped for a few seconds.
Guys, Please please, when pulling away from a traffic light always do yourself a favour and have a last look to make sure no one is about to try and kill you.
