Has anyone tried this here in SA? If so please give some feed back.
"Our Transalps are great allroaund bikes, but with on major flaw, the poor stock rear shock. If you want a "toy" that really makes a difference, suspension upgrade is the way to go, no question. Wilbers makes good shocks and of course Ohlins and others. I found Ohlins to be overpriced and ordered a Wilbers with the hydraulic spring preload adjuster too. After letting other Transalpers testride my bike, they ordered the same setup. The original fork springs are not bad but it is wise to replace them at the same time to get a better setup, doesnt cost that much xtra really.
Better suspension means increased comfort, more fun and is a safety + too."
who can do it in SA? does it make a difference? is it worth it?
