Trip to Namibia

We're planning to visit Namibia in April. Start in Springbok - Swakop - Springbok.
Any advise for me on what type of tyres to use?
I've got a set of Heidenaus hanging in my garage; K60(front0 and K76(rear). Can go and ride Nam with this tyre combo?
Any tips on where to stay? The following stop-overs has been identified:

Swakop
