Trip to Sani off tar route ??

I have never been up Sani Pass before and I know it is possible in one day to do it ,
so I think Im going to hit it one weekend!

But what I wanted to find out is if there Are some nice off road routes from Durban or even from PMB all the way down ? like an alternate route down to Mooi River.

Has anyone done it before form Durban side ?

Maybe the map man Gunda Gunda might have some good GPS maps on this ?
