I have a cheap chinese bike that I just use as a run around. It did really well up to the 10000km mark, gave no problems.

After that it really got difficult to start. It can be push started quite easily, but if I try and kick-start it or use the electric starter, it struggles.

Once its warm though, then it has no trouble starting again and runs well.

I have changed the plug, checked the gap etc. It cant be the battery because I have run it without a battery before and then it could still be kick-started easily.

The fact that it runs well once warm and then starts easily makes me think that it cant be a fuel supply problem either.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing these starting problems?
