My 2009 Adventure S with 15 000km on started acting up - swings the engine but not starting wait a few minutes and off I go. Techie replaced the fuel pump with a pirate one - I do not have the required R 6 grand for KTM one and fuel filter also replaced -l for a few days and troubles started all over.
The fuel light blinks twice and according to the manual that is a 'malfunctioning pulse generator' what ever that is - never heard of such a thing... (dd in a few swear words!!!)
My threadbare mechanical knowledge says that its not the pump or it will not run al all - ?
Yes filter was extremely dirty but that fixed.
So what nou - ek is klaar finansieel in die gemors want ek moet die techie betaal en nou stress ek. Moet betroubare voertuig he en dit is my KTM nie!
Any suggestions or advicel be welcom.
