Tying your Hammock to a tree.

Kay, assuming you either found a nice place with trees, pillars, giant men willing to stand still for extended periods of time, or managed to fit trees in your top box, you want to put up your hammock. Mine has one hook at each end and most trees do not. What are your most efficient and/or cheapest sollution to tie the hangmat to the tree?
