Tyres for 1200GS

My present Metzler Tourance EXP’s are nearly dead after 12k.
I ride tar for my daily work commute with short weekend dirt rides.
(Split probably Tar 85/15 Dirt.)  :ricky:
I will be going to the BMW Clubs Africa Bikefest in March, so the tyres must handle both a 1000k mostly tar tour from Pretoria to Oudtshoorn
plus the Swartberg Pass and Gamkaskloof.
I’m seriously considering other makes, mostly due to price!

Can anyone please recommend other makes from their experience?
