Hey guys...
I've added a GPT Micro rpm counter to my djebel
last night. I had to cut a new aluminium section to incorporate the 12V
Hella plug and the new counter.
I used double sited tape(No More Nails) to attach the backplate of the
counter to the plate.I also drilled holes in the plate behind the backplate
to allow me to unscrew the backplate from the counter. This allows me to
open the counter up and replace the battery without having to remove
the double sided tape and backplate.
It looks neat and works great.
Some additional info for the Djebel 250XC owners(Watty & Operator)
According to my new RPM counter, I run at 6300 RPM at 100km\h and
7000RPM at 110km\h. AS you know max torque is at 7000RPM.
Also, at 8500RPM(max KW) I estimate the speed will probable be around
135km\h.
I'm not sure, but I think the redline would probable be around 10 000RPM
(155km\h..if you can get there......scary)
Here's some pics
Any way, maybe the info helps you understand your bikes beter.
