Hi Ive been looking into some high end mods for the KLR and have come up with some pretty amazing options.

Cost  -+ R8000.00

3rd

Rekluse Auto Clutch
Wow what a clever idea an automatic clutch for your KLR.
Maybe not as important as the first two but if you are building the Ultimate KLR why not

Cost -+ R7000.00

Ad a few minor farkles like crash bars, bashplate Vapor dash and heated grips and you have a very well sorted bike for around R76000.00
thats R35 000 cheaper that the 800GS with similar add ons. Now I know the 800 has WAY more power but after driving it this weekend I must say all that extra power is wasted on me. I do not want to go 200kph on the road and you can't put that kind of power down on the dirt track ( I tried and ended up sideways) The KLR as setup above will be able to travel just as fast off road as the Beemer and will be far cheaper to maintain.
Some say that the KLR is ugly but I cant say that the 800 is much prettier. My Monster KLR looks much better IMHO ;D.

I really was all set to get myself an 800gs but now I'm not so sure. I think I would rather spend a little on my already lekka KLR.

Your thoughts and opinions welcomed.
