i am not much of a writer so the writing would be short and the pics plenty
I bought a 1983 BMW R65 in march 2013
To make sure she was mechanically 100% i drove her to work and back a few month with some long trips over weekends.
The idea was simply to make her lighter, simpler, with a more upright scrambler like riding position.
herewith some before pics.
the airhead looked good on photo's but it was due to a newish paint job
she was really rusty and dirty underneath
