Hi !
I just got word from Donovan at George BMW.
My shock absorber has been damaged beyond what they would consider repairable.
They don't have anything 2nd hand at the moment, so they recommended I get an Ohlins rear shock. All well and dandy, but at R10000 it is more than 1/5th of the price that I paid for the whole bike, so it doesn't sit well with me at the moment...
I was always under the impression that the 1100 and the 1150 shared the same swingarm and rearshock, but now Shane from AA in the waterfront told me that that isn't the case...
Soooo...
Can you nice people please keep an ear on the ground for a 2nd hand R1100GS rear shock ?
