I promised myself another more dirt-orienatd bike this year (missing out on too many local technical rides) and I think that I have settled on the DR - old school and KISS :thumleft:
The only other option for me is a XR, but they are scarce, expensive and was last imported by Honda in 2004 :'(
Will probably keep the Transalp for touring, but may decide to sell it on (e.g. if I have to buy the DR new) - will see how things work out.
Ok, so I am trying to be logical in my approach and have ranked my preferences -
1. Cheap and nasty: R20 - R30K playbike;
2. Mid-range R30-40K - must be in very good condition;
3. New: R67 K
- If all else fails.
Please keep your eyes peeled for me. Crate of beer on offer :mwink:
