I rode over a pretty bad corrugated road and I sam my screen and instrument panel take on a rather peculiar angle away from me. There was also this noise of something scraping against the wheel.
Upon further inspection I saw that the fitting that secures the bar supporting the entire nose cone had collapsed.
We used two belts tied around the nose and handle bars and came home.
It appears to be an aluminium casting that has broken, and needs to be repaired. I cannot replace it as the VIN plate is attached to it
