I'm really a stickler with a aircleaner...being a farmer.. my bike was serviced about 5000km's ago. I supplied filters. Using HiFlo filters. I noticed my bike wasn't performing as good so i stripped the aircleaner only to notice the element was sucked inward...resulting in dust and oil in intakes! Bloody hell!!
When i replaced the element the new HiFlo was without the steelmesh as seen on other supplier. The mesh is there for a reason being that the element can't colapse inward.
So pissed with myself for not noticing the obvious!
