even if the gear you buy is waterproof there must be some kind of deterioration over time due to washing, chafing, abrasion etc
One gets a product to waterproof tents. Think one is called nickwak or something?
I have some spray i treat my suede boots with that helps to make them withstand water.
Can one use similar products on jackets and pants? How will it affect the breathability of some fabrics?
BMW city pants leaflet says use silicon free waterproofing product they make.
