For the first time this year we will have a bike trip with this event. The lentefees is on the 5&6 September but on the 30 August there is the well-known Porseleinberg 4x4 and we decided to give the bikers also something to do that day.
The route will be mostly on good gravel with some sand and mud but its still pillion friendly. We will start at Riebeek Kasteel church hall and the route will pass Piketberg / Koringberg / Koperfontein / Darling / Moorreesburg and back to Riebeek Kasteel all the way on farm roads. The route is 270km long and there will be a sweepers vehicle with a trailer for back up. Fill up your bike before 09H00. Fuel stations on the route are available at the towns we pass.
After the ride we go to the WATERGAT where the 4x4â??s will play and there is a braai and â??barâ? available. The route to the watergat is deep loose sand so if you want to leave the bike at a safe point we can go to the watergat with a tractor and a trailer.
