Can you use a 34mm welch plug if the original size should be 33.6mm? I'm sure it can be tapped into place, it's only 0.2mm all round that its bigger... but is it a good idea?
And, I can't get stainless ones, only zinc plated. Should I paint it with Indian Shellack? Or is it okay to use as is?
