Sprocketbek, al my beste wense aan Abel, ek hoop die man voel gou weer tip-top.

Thanks Danie!
You can't keep a good man down.....he is doing well and will be discharged soon by all accounts.
The unit they fitted is apparently more of a monitor / jumpstarter than pacemaker.
Will give him a good wallop when he gets too laid back.  >:D

He won't be able to kickstart the Honda for a while so I have been tasked with that chore.  ;)

Sounds to me they should just provide an external jack to plug it into the Honda? Simple engineering ;D
Does that unit come with a remote control?  >:D

Sterkte, Abie! Hoop jy's gou weer op die stofpaaie saam met ons. Groete van Tian en Janetta  :thumleft:

No No No...the one on the right is definately a chick. (Even his Avatar says so)

Besides..they had to catch the Hondas, keeping wind resistance low helps.

Morning all!

After a hugely successful Amageza Western Cape Q2, the results are in!

Please check your mail!  >:D >:D >:D

Interesting fact or two...

Out of 30 riders...

100% (in decent time - some coming in just under 4 hours) :
•15 new
•2 exempt
•1 'do over from Q1'

100% (in their own time) :
•3 new
•3 'do over from Q1'

80% :
•1 with mechanical issues
•1 with sand issues
(Both KTM's I might add ;p )

Recovered :
•1 exempt - mechanical issues
•1 exempt - injury
•1 'do over from Q1' - clutch @ Morning Star
•1 new - mechanical issues in Atlantis

Well done to all - The organisers, the riders, and to the support guys especially! Seems like it was the event of the year.

Great photos, videos and stories too!

:imaposer:

Maar ek is seker hulle gaan more bars. Sand of nie sand nie.

Ek soek n ry maatjie volgende jaar, so ek sal die fotos en die videos dophou om te sien wie het soos ek gesuffer.  :peepwall:

OK guys and girls.

I had to compose this vid, to convince myself that I can actually ride in this stuff, as I am still sufering from Amnesia from that ride!

Enjoy!

Finally got the chance to watch it - AWESOME stuff. Big time respect for you ou boet!  :thumleft:

I noticed you seemed to be riding a lot better on the sand after 7:54.

The problem is that once you start duckwalking, its extremely difficult to throw that switch in your mind again to get back on the pegs. the short tar section cleared my head again.
