I keep reading the "what bike should I buy?" threads and, honestly, am always interested. I love the delicous debate with my self as much as with others as to what would fill my dream garage.
But at the end of the day all the bikes have merit and all fill a role. I read an article by Dan Walsh where he said driving a car was like watching a movie and riding a bike like being the lead actor. For me that sums it up. I wish I had more time to ride and yearn for some long trips but whatever, I love to ride.
So I say ride whatever you have, be it humble be it grand,
Enjoy it now and take a stand.
Mark Twain would have kept the sentiment but dropped the sailing analogy had bikes been around in his time.
