So I'm doing more and more exploring, using other people's routes mostly. I've been trying to use my iPhone 6S+ and Google Maps to do this, but I'm realising it's not a great solution. The screen is almost invisible in sunlight and you just get a rough line of where the route is, not actual navigation or anything.
I have an old Garmin Nuvi 200 lying at home but this seems unable to open route files and you can only have one via point of a route. What is a decent entry level GPS to look for? I don't need bluetooth or music playing or traffic reports and that, just want to be able to load a offroad route on the thing and be able to see it in the sun.
Any hints?
