In view of all the lid related posts, I would like to know what the point of a DS lid is? I commute with my bike so most of my riding is on the road. I think from a noise and safety perspective a full face lid is still the way to go.
Now if a DS lid did not allow any dust in when going offroad I would agree it is a good compromise but just like a full face, dust gets in. The only way around that is an MX lid with goggles. So is the DS lid just an image thing?
I'm asking cause I need to get a new lid and the DS concept just makes no sense to me.
Help me out here please?
