What's a KLR really worth?

With all the woo ha about the KLR not being sold in SA anymore, I noticed that people are asking "inflated" sums for their KLR's. I recently bought a 2005 for R27K. Only 17000km on the clock.

My insurance reckons the trade/retail values are between 14 and just over 17 000? I'm sure I'll get over 30 000 for it.

What is a real fair price then? Or don't guys that publish the "book" know about this?
