My front disc on my KLE 500 is badly worn. The service limit is 4.5mm and I am now 3mm. The stealers want R 3250-00 for a new OEM ex Japan. I mean WTF!!! I can get a EBC disc from Wemoto in the UK for 93 Pounds, but want to try local first.
Does anyone know where (in Cape Town) I can get an aftermarket disc for my bike or can anyone make up a new one using the correct grade of steel. I heard of guys making up brake discs using the incorrect grade of steel and they dont last. What is the correct grade of steel to use? Advice appreciated. :thumleft:
