I would love to know your thoughts on comparing your ride on the HP to the 790.Although maybe unfair to compare but which one gives you the most satisfaction/enjoyment?

Was thinking the same thing today while riding the HP2 today.....

The HP obviously has no rider aids and I like that, it’s part of the appeal of the bike. It is extremely stable at speed and I was a lot of fun power sliding out of corners. It handled the rough stuff well, but the suspension took a hammering.

I love the 790 because it’s a precision tool. The suspension and geometry is just so perfect that the bike almost becomes too easy to ride. Power delivery is immediate and  and intoxicating.

If I had to have only one bike, it would be the 790....... but the HP2 has soul and it’s good to have one in the man cave again. Limited application, but still gives me goosbumps

Had some time Saturday and the weather was really awesome...

First, took my wife's bike for a "carbon buildup" cleaning run - who says a sportbike can't handle a little gravel

Then, I meandered on our local farm routes.

Managed two runs this weekend - first one on the Laverda down to the Cairngorms

After finishing the prep on the GS (apart from oil and filter and tyres) for the upcoming South America trip, me and Mrs 3D went over to the west coast to make sure the bike was OK.  It was. ;)

Had no planned route for today. Ended up on the Ou Voortrekker Pas north from Hoekwil over the mountain to Louvain guest farm and then home. Epic [emoji28]
