TD what runs without water when you have a dry spell? Do the plants start wilting? I would assume or have always that your soil is always soaked with water?Yeah, no shortage of green. Nice to be riding through forest that is closer to what nature intended rather than acres of farmed pine.
I dislike riding in the rain, but, during the long dry spell we had through late May and June water levels were dropping fast in some important places like Loch Ness and Loch Maree near Kinlochewe, which are fookin' massive bodies of water. It's like even here we live with just enough water, and six weeks of little rain starts to cause problems. Doesn't really bode too well for the future...
Great to see your GS in such an immaculate condition after all these yrs, ou boet. Not today...yesterday....in light of the weather predictions indicating a moerse froue kont becreeping the country, I thought I'd best shoot out for some helmet therapy lest I succumb to cabin-fever induced insanity by Sunday afternoon.
105 kms on the back roads ( dirt) to Friemersheim, and then a little loop into the forests and over the Beneke River ( 3rd pic) and back to F/Heim. Then on the black stuff to Groot Brak and back to George on dirt roads.
