To clean the tank, you can use sulphamic acid and then leave the tank in it overnight and then wait for someone to secretly replace it while you sleep like in this video (after reading the comments and watching a second time, I noticed the tank changes)

Or you can do like this guy. Clean the tank as you see fit, then remove the yellowing with peroxide. I have cleaned white plastics on a mobile aircon with peroxide before and it worked well there. Maybe worth your while to give it a go.

Note sure why the first video is not linking, but here is a screenshot if you want to look for yourself at which point he swaps the tank out for a new one.

It is a strange fate that we should suffer so much fear and doubt over so small a thing. Such a little thing :D

And found some genuine but crusty NC30 bolts

Assembly time, the double round headlights from the 80’s are the best

Little plastic and rubber parts are over 30 years old, all of them still in tact. Nothing broken or ripped

Any Auto parts should have those. Just double check the wattage.

I am assuming that is the tiny tiny paush in globe? Yes, maybe try someone like Midas. Else I bought LED ones for my Honda Jazz interior that I found at the China mall on old JHB

Also try Diesel Electric in Church street in Pta.

They will probably stock these bulbs and also quality.

Or Caelex.

Found genuine Honda bulbs (2nd hand), collecting next week. Today I sorted the crusty wiring harness. Strip of old tape, wires still in excellant condition. All stock connectors in place

Cloth tape is great !

No damaged or dodgy connection in the harness

Mine back a number of years ago. It was never as clean as yours will be but damn it was a machine, ran with more modern 600's . Loved it !
