Race Dog
I did it again this morning, dropped the Dakar at 0.5 km/h, touching the front brake while doing a sharp turn on my neighbour's mossy (read: snotty) driveway. The Dakar's handlebars are made of soft cheese, and I've had to replace it once before. This time it's so bent I feel like I'm riding a Dutch sit-up-and-beg bicycle :xxbah:
I remember Hentie mentioning they've got fatter bars that will fit a Dakar - does anyone have one of these fitted? Is it ProTaper? Are they much stronger than the OEMs?
What about the heated grips - I suppose there are some modifications required to accommodate those? (Yes, I still need them.)
While we're at it, which bar raisers will go with these bars (also considering it's an ABS model)? I think I need about 2.5cm.
Let rip!
