I have bought an old but good condition PENTA exhaust originally from an XT660 Tenere with a view to modify and fit on my KLR650. The existing Air Age does nor have a very lekker sound. I approached T Spoon to make me a new connection pipe and was quoted R1250 which with the original purchase price of the pipe will only work out R450 cheaper tan a new T Spoon.
Surely a 300mm piece of pipe and bending cannot be so much.
Any suggestions please, otherwise i am just gonna sell the Penta and Air Age and buy something else.
The Air Age also hangs too low and hits the stabilizer bar of my pannier racks.
