Herewith a pictorial of wiring my bike with new HID low beam.
This is the only cables needed (or which I used for that matter).
Instead of using the original low beam cables, wiring them to the HID kit, I only used the wires direct from the ballast, 2 from the oval socket â?? one for earth, and the other (live), direct into the original light socket of the KTM. I re-used the terminal from the original green low beam wire (live).
Cut all terminals (just behind the terminal) from the HID kit â?? both from the bulb, as to where they would clip into the wires from the ballast. (Yes! Go on â?? cut them, - what shall it be â?? black or white!!!, CUT THEM BOTH!)
I fitted new terminals (male/female) to all the other open ends. Make sure you fit to the one side a male and a female â?? as to avoid confusion, and then to the other side. That way you will make sure the correct cable will fit to the other.
