I've done deep sand & rocks, up hill, down hill & water crossings.....never mud. :?
So except for the usual care & wide eyes, how do I aproach mud? Same as sand , lean back, steady throttle but with more care on the throttle?
I'm thinking that the biggest difference between sand & mud except for the obvious lack of grip, is that you have both ends to worry about. You have a sliding front & back end that wants to (and will) step out with the slightest throttle input. Do I lean back to "float" the front wheel or keep COG as low as possible & in the middle of the bike?
What about tyre pressures?
A word from the wise please. :notworthy:
